Policy Title: EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM EVALUATION The instructional program review process at East Central Community College has been developed to complement the on-going institutional effectiveness process. The instructional program review is a comprehensive, systematic, and evidence-based method of self-evaluation and study of instructional programs. The instructional program review is both a broad and in-depth appraisal and should accompany, but not replace, annual program level IE planning as described in Policies 202 and 203 as well as curriculum review procedures per Policy 402.10. While all administrative, educational, support, and community units of the College participate in an integrated institutional effectiveness planning process, the instructional program review is specific to units which typically conform to the institutional Definition of Educational Program per Policy 202.3.
