a. The President, at his/her discretion, may choose to interview one or both of the recommended candidates prior to selecting an applicant. b. In the event of non-concurrence with both applicants recommended, the President is to forward written reasons for the rejection to the Selection and Interview Committee via the appropriate administrator. c. Otherwise, the President selects one of the two recommended applicants. d. The President or his designee discusses matters of salary, benefits, housing, etc., with the applicant selected. 5. Each month, the President of the College will inform the Board of Trustees regarding employment of individuals in administrative positions during the time period since the previous Board meeting, to the extent practical.

6. Files for all newly filled positions include the following:

a. Copy of the Position Opening Announcement; b. List of all applicants for the position with sex and race indicated and status of the applications; c. List of all applicants interviewed with the dates of the interviews and each applicants’ strengths and weaknesses;

d. Selection and Interview Committee and all other appropriate parties; e. Copy of the recommendation with the date of approval indicated.
