In addition to recogni.dng fc•rmer presidents and administra– tors for their leadership, I will also speak about teachers and students of this institution who have played sig– mficant roles in the success of East Central. I also plan to recognize alumni who have excelled in various endeavors. On a lighter note, I will mention the various traditions once observed at the College, such as May Day, Sadie Hawkins Day, etc., and will also point out the various changes in clothing styles through the years. I'll conclude my remarks on a more personal note by talking about what East Central Community College has done for me," Wood said. A native of Winston County, Wood teaches physical education and education classes at the College and serves as Chair of the Social Science Department.
