with a two-day total of 154. Simmons, who earned a berth in the nationals with his 75-79 ef– fort, would have easily won top individual honors had he not bogeyed the 3-par 16th, double– bogeyed the 4-par 17th and triple-bogeyed the 4-par 18th. Simmons will go to Lehigh, Fla. for the na tional Juco finals in June.

Gulf Coast was fourth in the two-day tourney with a score of 640 and East Central was at 735 Southwest at 739 and Co-Lin at 740. Medalist honors were won by Terry Price of Hinds, who shot rounds of n-75-152 over Br iar– wood's massive 7,000-yard layout.
