Coach Kilpatrick has released the 1983 ECJC football schedule as follows: SEPTEMBER 3 Coahoma Decatur 10 Gulf Coast Perkinston 17 Northeast Decatur 24 Copiah- Lincoln Decatur 29 Holmes Goodman OCTOBER 8 Pearl River Poplarville 15 Hinds (Homecoming) Decatur 20 Delta Moorhead 29 J ones Ellisville NOVEMBER S Southwest Decatur

On August 12 the East Central Junior College football team will begin work to prepare for the 1983 fooball season. Ap· proximately 70 players are expec- • ted to report to the campus on the II th with pracuce to begin on the morning of the 12th. According to A.J. Kilpatrick, head football coach beginmng his second season at ECJC, twenty-eight members of the squad will be returning lettermen, twenty members will be freshmen, and another twenty-six are expected to try out for positions on the team during the pre-season prac– tice.
