ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR OFFICE OF HEALTHCARE EDUCATION
General Statement of the Function: To serve as the administrative assistant in the office of the Healthcare Education and perform those duties and functions normally associated with a secretary/administrative assistant position. These general duties and functions will include general office duties such as typing, filing, computer operation, reception, telephone, scheduling, data collection, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain student files for all healthcare education students and applicants. 2. Process healthcare applications for students applying to healthcare education programs. 3. Compile, distribute, and collect all student evaluation materials; 4. Type materials required to maintain the functions of the office; 5. Clerical assistant for Associate Degree Nursing faculty and Practical Nursing faculty; 6. Maintain the files of the office; 7. Open and distribute the mail daily;
8. Answer the telephone; 9. Schedule appointments; 10. Other duties as assigned.
