• ECCC---from_9A 10 in the final NJCAA Top 20 Football Poll for the 2015 season. Karcher helped lead

the Warriors to its best season in 16 years with an overall record of 8-3. The HOT Bowl was East Central's first bowl game since 1996, and fourth bowl game since the Warriors began play ing football in 1928. Head women's basket ball coach Crandal Porter was named Women's Bas ketball Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Warriors to the MACJC State Championship. In his fourth year at ECCC, Porter helped lead his Lady Warriors to a 19 game winning streak. Porter's Lady Warriors completed the season with both the MACJC South Division title and MACJC State Champi onship, finishing 24-3 overall and 15-1 in the conference.

Both Holliman and Porter were also named MACJC Coaches of the Year for their 2015-16 season success. The coaches will be honored at the MAC Coaches of the Year ban quet June 24 at the Hilton in Jackson.
