Only 93 inst1 tut10ns that applied for the pro gram achieved 2016 recognition. Results are reported for smaJl, medi um and large institutions, with ECCC included among small institutions with 2,999 students or fewer. East Central was recog nized in the categories of Collaborative Gover nance, for faculty mem bers appropriately involved in decisions related to academic pro grams; confidence in sen ior leadership, for leaders who have necessary knowledge, skills and experience for institution al success; supervisor department chair rela tionship, for supervisors who make expectations clear and solicit ideas; and work-life balance, for poli cies that give employees flexibility to manage per sonal lives.
