ECCC golfer takes part in NJCAA Division II tourney From school reports
recipient of the Scholar Athlete award. Williams is a 2014 graduate of ECCC, where he received numerous other honors. He is a product of Parkers Chapel High School in Eldorado, Ark. ECCC golf coach Chris Clark said he was proud ofWilliams and every thing he accomplished in two years at ECCC. "I am even more proud of him for being the out standing young man that he is," Clark said. "East Central Community Col lege could not have had a better representative in the NJCAA National Golf Tournament than Sawyer Williams. We will miss him and wish hirr\ the best of luck in all his future endeavors."
DECATUR-East Central Community Col lege golfer Sawyer Williams finished in the middle of the pack in the 2014 NJCAA Division II Men's Golf National Championship May 20-23 at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, lnd. \Villiamsrecorded rounds of77-82-80-77 for a 316 total and finished 63rd in the 128-person field. Williams earned a spot in the prestigious tourna ment based on his season scoring average.
