ECCC golf awards

East Central Community College golfers Aaron Tucker (left) of Carthage and Sawyer Williams of Eldorado, Ark., were presented hon· ors at the annual Spring Sports Awards Banquet held recently on the Decatur campus. Tucker and Williams were co-recipients of the Scholar Athlete Award and Williams received Most Valuable Player and second team MACJC All-State honors. Williams also qualified to participate in the NJCAA Division II National Golf Tournament scheduled May 20 23, 2014, at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, IN. Tucker is a product of Leake Central High School, and Williams hails from Parkers Chapel High School. ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart and Warrior golf coach Chris Clark presented awards.
