HARD COURT WARRIORS REC G I ZED

ECCC Photo Special recognition was gtven to the 2013 East Central Community College tennis teams dunng halfttme ceremonies of the ECCC/Copiah-Lmcoln Community College football game Thursday, Sept. 12 at Bailey Stadium on the Decatur campus. The Lady Warriors and Warriors were named NJCAA Academic Tennis Teams of the Year and were recognized as MACJC All-State Academic Teams for 2012-13 for their academic success. The Lady War– riors fed the nation with a 3.77 grade point average and the Warriors achieved a 3.76 GPA. ECCC Prestdent Dr. Billy Stewart (left) presented NJCAA-provided plaques to each team. Amber Pierce of Walnut Grove, Nan Hartness of Louisville, Hannah Smith of Madden and Hayden Fryery of Louisville; Warriors Andrew Hanna of Union, Brandon St. Clair of Newton, Hunter Mayo and Josh Peoples, both of Carthage; and Coach Dianne O'Neill.
