Closest-to-pin winners East Central Community College President Dr. Billy Stewart, left, of Decatur and Larry Waggoner of Carthage were among "closest-to-the-pin" winners in. the 12th Annual ECCC Warrior Golf Classic held Thursday, June 27 at the Dancing Rabbit Club in Choctaw. Also earning closest-to– the-pin honors were Bob Jordan of Kosciusko and Will Whittington of Carthage, who also recorded the second hole-in-one in tournament history. Gage Walker of Brandon won the Birdies for Charity Closest to the Line driving con– test. Sponsored by the ECCC Alumni Association, the Warrior Golf Classic serves as a tundraiser for student scholarships.
