Scholarship winners.... These three ladies will each have an additional $400 to apply towards their education expenses nest ) ear at East Central Community College in Decatur. They are the recipients of of the mone) through the scholarship fund raising efforts of the Laird Hospital Volunteers, who fund the stipends for students studying in a healthcare– related field through bake sales and other activities during the year. This year's winners were (left to right): Philadelphia High School senior LaJoya Griffin, EC freshman Emily Franklin of Union and Lauren Daniels, a sen– ior at Neshoba Central High School.
