Anderson said the running game will be led by freshman LaVadius Lyles (5-8, 180), a 2009 graduate of Forest High School, Player of the Year as a junior. Lyles is a transfer from North– western State. Top returnees on the offensive line include center Tate Rogers (6- 2, 285) of Louisville and tackle Andre Lucious (6-1, 340) of Tuscaloosa County (Ala.) High School. TI1ey were part of an offensive line that helped the War– rior offense average 176.7 rushing yards per contest in 2010. Anderson continues to be excited about the defense, which last year was ranked second overall in the MACJC, allowing 279.2 yards per contest. But the lack of experience is not necessarily a concern to Brian Anderson, now entering I\ is third season as head football coach. "We're young (only 12 returning starters) but also Anderson as his team pre– pares for the season opener. "We just need to minimize mistakes as our young team builds confidence. We are capable of being a very good football team."
