RECEIVE ECCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALLAWARDS: These members of the East Cen– tral Community College women's basketball team rece1ved vanous honors for the 2006-07 campaign, which were presented at the Spring Sports Banquet held on the Decatur cam– pus. From left are Constci,nce Hayes, a product of Jackson Provine, hustle award; Tenesha Brown, also of Provine, most improved, Valerie Harris of Lake, most valuable offensive player, AII-Reg1on 23 Tournament Team, All-Region 23 and first team All-State; Andrea Dubose of Newton County High School, scholar athlete and most valuable defensive play– er; and Erin Watkins of Newton County Academy, Lady Warner award. The l.:ady Warriors advanced to the MACJC and Region 23 tournaments en route to a 16-10 record . The awards were presented by ECCC President Or. Phil A. Sut- phin and Lady Warrior head coach Bill Smith.
