Philadelphia couple establishes RCCC srholarshtiJ A Philadelphia couple has estab– lished a scholar~hip for local stu– dents who allcnd East Central Community College in Decatur. The Ronnie and Michele Jones Scholarship provides two semesters of tuition- valued at $1400- to a Neshoba Central High School gradu– ate who meets the <,cholarship quali– fications. The succes~ful business owners, who are franchisee~ and owners of Sonic Drive-In restaurants, estab– lished the following requirements for scholarship redpients: (I) must have demonstrated lead– er...hip abilities while a11ending Ncshoba Central High School: (2) must have demonstrated high moral standards with good character; (3) must be active in a Christian church: (4) must be enrolled ac; a full-time student at ECCC; (5) must have a 3.0 or higher GPA: and (6) must not have been involved in any activity that would bring dis– credit to Eac;t Central Community College,. The scholarc;hip recipient will be \elected annuall} by lhe Neshoba Central High School Scholarship Committee, dependent upon avail– ability of funding.
