Cheatham Universit) as a graduate assistant from 1993-96. During the 1996-97 school year. Cheatham was assistant coach/defensive coordinator at Dothan (Ala.) High School. He returned to \1ississippi as head football coach at Philadelphia from 1997-200 I with the Tornadoes going 35- 11-1 during his tenw·e. All five teams made the playoffs. Cheatham then went to Ole Miss as Director of Football Operations from 2003-05. He ts a graduate of Neshoba Central, ECCC, and Mtssissippi State.
