AREA STUDENTS COMPLETING ECCCNURSING PROGRAM: Ready to begin their careers in the healthcare field are the above East Central Community College students from Newton County who received Associate Degree Nursing pins during the annual pin– ning ceremony held May 12, 2006, 1n Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus. Standing from left are Jessica Boswell and Dana Boone, both of Union; Allison Gressett of Decatur, Daniel Munn and Scott Smith, both of Little Rock; Anya Dickerson of Conehatta and Bethany Garrison of Decatur. Wendy Moore served as speak– er and fellow nurs1ng instructor Cynthia Odom pinned the 37 "Class of 2006" graduates. Melanie Gilmore, ADN dean, and staff member Kathy Purser also participated in the pro– gram. Nursing students who had a part in the ceremony were Eric Plunkett of Lake, who recited the poem The Heart of ANurse, and Brandi Smith of Forest, who gave the invoca– tion.
