Wins on students complete ECCC nursing program
• (EC I'IIOTo) Ready to begin their careers In the healthcare field are the above East Central Community Col– lege students from the Wlnston:County area who received Associate Degree Nursing pins dur– ing the annual pinning ceremony held May 1.2, 2006, in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur cam– pus. From left are Alecla Holder, Shamra Collier and Charles Quinn, all of Louisville; Dawn Buckelman, Ackerman; LaShara Jones, Noxapater; and Fran Stevenson, Louisville. Wendy Moore served as speaker and fellow nursing Instructor Cynthia Odom placed pins on the 37 "Class of 2006" graduates. Melanie Gilmore, ADN dean, and staff member Kathy Purser also participated in the program. Nursing students who had a part In the ceremony were Erin Plun– kett of Lake, who recited the poem The Heart of A Nurse, and Brandl Smith of Forest, who gave the invocation.
