Throw in second-team All-American awards in softball her freshman year and basketball her sophomore year and you get the feeling the folks at NJCAA headquarters in Colorado Springs. Colo.. will recall her name many years from now. "It's a great honor.· said Chaney. who has already em oiled at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattit'sburg. where she will play basketball this winter She will play both basket ball and softball the fol lowing year. "I wasn't shocked," Chaney added.
