Smith Inks With ECCC Jennifer Smith (s~ated center), a standout member of the Newton County High School fas t-pitch softball team, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her athletic career at East Central Community College. Smith, a catcher/first base– man, was named to the 2004 MAC AU-Star squad after helping lead the Lady Cougars to the 2003 state title.
