Cavenaugh Joins EC Squad joy Cavenaugh (seated center), a standout member of the Newton County High School fast-pitch soft– ball team, has signed a national let– ter of intent to continue her athletic career at East Central Community CoUege. Cavenaugh, a pitcher/out– fielder, was named to the 2004 MAC All-Star squad after helping lead the lady Cougars to the 2003 state title. She is also a two-time recipient of the Lady Cougar pitch– ing award.
