Mapp Signs With ECCC Dominique Mapp (seated right), a standout member of the Newton County High School fast-pitch softball team, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her athletic career at East Central Community College. Mapp, a third baseman/outfielder, was named to the 2004 MAC AU-Star squad after helping lead the Lady Cougars to the 2003 state title. She also received the team's Hitting Award and Glove Award.
