Florence will be on display as part of Homecommg week activities scheduled on the Decatur campus. Allen, a product of South Leake High School and a 1977 ECCC graduate, will exhibit a collection of paint– ings during a reception scheduled from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 7 in t he Vicker s Fine Arts Center lobby. Sh e is dedicating the exhibit in honor of her alma mater. "To show my appreciation for my time at East Central, I have taken my inspiration for this show from times in the past, featuring old homes showing the wear of many years," Allen com– mented. Allen said she "learned a tremendous amount about drawing, painting, perspec– tive and composition" while a student of ECCC art instructor Bruce Guraedy, who continues to teach at the College and serves as Chairman of the Fine Arts Division. She added, "I want to thank Bruce for asking me to present my artwork dur– ing Homecoming week and for being a constant and
