Receives Thomas Scholarship To Attend ECCC Shonda Nowell (left), a 2003 graduate of Philadelphia High School, is this yearis recipient of The Charles and Judy Dowdle Thomas Scholarship to attend East Central Community College. The Thomas Family established the scholarship in 1997 for a graduate of Philadelphfa High School. Mr. Thomas Is a member of the ECCC Class of 1964. Nowell received the award at the 2003 BeiiSouth Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon held on the Decatur campus.
