Receives Clayton Blount Sch olarship ·To Attend ECCC - Kristen Chaney (left), a 2003 graduate of Newton County High School, is this year's recipient of The W. Clayton Blount Scholarship to attend East Central Community College. The scholarship honors the former ECCC coach/administrator/teac her who served the College from 1953 to 1970. His former players establish ed the scholar· ship in 1995.
