Theta All-Mississippi Academic Second Team and was nom– inated for the organization's Order of the Golden Key Award. He serves as vice president of the Student Body Association and editor of The Tom Tom campus newspaper. He received the Margaret Mosal Award for Leadership and was select– ed for Who's Who Among American Community and Junior College Students. In addition, he is a member of Warrior Corps, President's Council, Mu Alpha Theta, the Environmental Club, the Wo-He-Lo yearbook staff, Sigma Sigma Mu Tau and Students Against Destructive Decisions.
