Schoiarship Recipients.... Three local high school seniors were the beneficiaries of $400 college scholar– ship!:> awarded this spring by the Volunteers at Alliance-Laird Hospital in Union. Meagan McMahan (front, left) a graduate of Newton High School will attend East Central Community College; Erica Moore, a senior at Newton High will use her tuition funds at jones County Junior College, and Paul Moss (back, left), a graduate of the Mississippi School for Math and Science will attend the University of Southern Mississippi. The awards were announced last Thursday by Volunteer Coordinator Jackie Richardson (back, right).
