ECCC PTK Chapter Wins International Honors Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at East Central Community College was recognized as a Distinguished Chapter and received the Leadership HallmarkAward at the honor society's international convention heldApril3-5, 2003, in Anaheim, California. As a Distinguished Chapter, Theta Xi is considered one ofthe top 25 chapters in the prestigious organization, which includes more than l ,200 chapters at community, technical, and junior colleges in all 50 states. Canada, Japan and U. S. territories abroad. The HallmarkAwards Programis the society's capstone awards competition annually recognizing excellence in programs that promote the Phi Theta Kappa Hallmarks ofScholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship.
