RECEIVES UNION PLA"\TIRS SCHOLARSHIP - Jennifer Savell, a 1998 graduate of Newton County High School, is a recipient of a Union Planters Bank Scholarship to attend East Central Community College in Decatur. The outstanding student is shown receiving the award from Leon Harris, president of the banking system's Newton branch. Also pictured is Kenneth Jones, Decatur branch pre~ident, and Lynn Savell, the award recipient's mother. Union Planters Bank provides annual scholarships to selected recipients from throughout the College's five-county d istrict.
