ECCC 8·3, THREE RIVERS 0-2: The Warriors got a three-hit shutout from Hank Thoms in the opener of Friday's doubleheader sweep. Thoms <2-1> struck out nine and walked four in keeping the Missouri squad off the scoreboard. Brooks Bryan led EC's offense with two singles and a double. Chris Ezelle. Ron Cook, Kenyon Gardner, and Will McLeod each had one single. Bryan had a two-run double in the first inning and a one-run s ingle m the fifth. He ended the contest by throwing out a Raider at the plate from center field. Handy Jackson (1-2) took the loss. In the nightcap, Chris Bond had a two-run single in the fourth to erase n 1·0 deficit on a home run by Aaron ~ew of the Raiders. New tied the game at2-2 with a solo homer in the sixth.
