Former East Central Community College faculty member Leon Eubanks (seated center) of Hattiesburg has established an annual scholarship award at the two-year institution which will be presented to the president of the Student Body Assoctation aunng Awards Day activittes held each spnng. Eubanks. a 1925 graduate of New– ton County Agricultural High School , taught English at East Central from 1934- 43 and served as dean of men during the 1942-43 term During his tenure he also served as public relations officer and assistant dean of men. In addition. he sponsored a campus leadership organi– zation called Ka JYC-Peers It is in trbute of
