Cliburn, center, during the recent observance of his 90th birthday held during luncheon ceremonies of the East Central Community College Board of T rustees' December meeting. Cliburn, who ser"ed as a trus tee from Neshoba County, announc– ed his retirement from the Board t'oUowing a 10-yea r service. Blackwell presented Cliburn , an MC alumnus and Athletic Han of Fame member, with a framed photo of th e M ississippi Col– lege 1989 NCAA Division ll ational Championship football team and a college sweatshir t. East Central Board Chairman Henry B. · •Bubba' ' Hudspeth of Louisville presented the fo rmer EC administrator and instructor with a resolution and plaque commemorating Cliburn's many years of service on the Board and to the field of education .
