But bounced back and al– lowed the Bobcats a lone safety during the first four innings of the nightcap as his teammates pounded out 15 hits including a homer. double and single by Jimmy Williams. The Warriors mark is now 3-3 as they prepare to host Merid– ian JC in a home game Tuesday on the Warrior diamond. The loss left Jones with a 2-2 record for the season.

East Central D.efeated By 'Perkinston"

East Central Jtntlor College dropped into a first place tie in the north Miss. J\Dlior Col– lege Conference stmdings by losing 31-3 to Perkinston last Thursday. The only points made byECJC resulted from a field goal by Ruscy McMullan, who replaced Freddy Bagley at quarterback after Bagley suffered a dis– located elbow in the second quarter. ECJC now has won 3 and lost 1, the same record of Northeast Jtntior College. Wade Clark and Joe Tad– lock were outstanding for ECJC on defense, while offensive stal– warts were Mickey Sessions and James May.
