Twenty-seven Newton County students have been named to the Dean's List and eleven to the President's List at East Central Jr. College for the fall semester. Frank Rives, Dean of -Admissions and Records, announced the names of 54 students who had made the Dean's List by maintaining a 3.5 or better grade point average based on a 4.0 system. Seventeen students made the President's List by maintaining a 4.0 or straight "A" average . ECJC has increased enrollment
Frank Rives, Dean of Admissions and Records at East Central Jr. College, announced that as of Friday, January 16, a total of 790 students had enrolled for Academic, Vocational and Evening classes for . the Spring Semester. This figure shows a 13% increase over Academic en– rollment figures for the Spring semester in 1980. Dr. Brad Tucker, Aca– demic Dean, stated that six Evening Classes have been established.
