ECJC CHOIR TO ATTEND FESTIVAL

The East Central Junior College Choir and Collegians under the direction of Robert Heritage will join choirs from each junior college in the state at the Mississippi Junior College State Choral Festival at Hinds Junior College in Raymond on Feb. 22 and 23. The 63 member choir will arrive at Hinds Junior College on Friday afternoon and begin practice. The Collegians, a select group of singers at ECJC, will be featured Friday .night along with groups from other junior colleges . The ECJC Choir will perform Sa~urday afternoon, as will the 14 other junior college choirs. Saturday night all the choirs will join together and form a mass choir of over 800 students. Guest Conductor for the Mass Choir Concert will be Hugh Sanders, director of Choral Activities at the West Texas State University in Cannon, Texas. The public is invited to attend all the concerts.
