Long, graduated from East Central Junior College in Decatur. He was a member of the Hall of Fame, president of the Medical Services Club, ECJC Concert Choir and Fm Theta Kappa. He received the ECJC Players Award, American Outstanding Names and Faces Award and Citizenship Award. He also received the Freshman Chemistry Award and the Frank E. Leather; wood Memorial Biological Award. Long plans to major in pr~ pharmacy at Ole Miss.
