Dates Set For Annual Girl's Basketball Camps

The dates have been set for the annual Girls' Basketball Camps at East Central Junior College. June 2G-25 is the date for girls entering the lOth, 11th, and 12th grades and July 11-16 for those entering the 7th, 8th and 9th grades. All campers will be housed in Air Conditioned Jackson Hall with mea ls in the College dining Hall. East Central's two gyms and other facilities will be used in the camp. The camps a re approved by the Mississippi Pr ivate School Association and the Mississip– pi High School Activities Association. The cost to a ttend camp is $85.00 for dorm campers and ~.00 for day campers . fhe cost includes group accident insurance, camp shirt and noon meal for day campers. The Cost Wlil be $80.00 per camper for a team bringing eight or more dorm campers. Special events at Camp in– cludes a talent program on Wednesday night. Camp All– Stars by classes and ribbons gtven by classes in a large number of individual events. Basketball fundamentals will be stressed with a full staff of Coaches teaching the basket– ball skllls. East Centra l Basketball players wlll serve as Counselors. Lucille Wood, Basketball Coach a t East Central will serve as the Camp Director. Coach Wood states, "Any stu-

dent interested in attending camp can contact me at East Central or your high school coach. We believe we have two outstanding basketball camps and our objective is to meet the needs of our ar ea girl basketball players."
