Newspaper Clippings

Most Valuable Golf Player Joel Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Nelson Jr. of Newton, was recognized at the East Central Jr College Athletic Banquet as the Most Valuable Player on the golf team and for having the Best Individual Average. Nelson finished second in the state and was one of six named to the All-State Team.
