CTE Showcase EC H osts O ver 500 S tudents for C areer & T echnical S howcase

East Central Community College recently invited pro spective students to explore Career, Technical, General Engineering, Education, and Healthcare programs during an on-campus showcase and preview day. “East Central’s student experience and educa tional opportunities are truly unique,” shared Vice President for Enrollment Management Marie Roberts.

“We wanted to provide any prospective student inter ested in any of these paths to see first-hand the oppor tunities we provide and the experience they will gain on campus.” The open-house-style event included informative group tours of programs, live demonstrations, pro grammatic experiences, op portunities to connect with faculty, and a campus tour.

“We are always excited to show our prospective students, whether they are adult learners or cur rent high schoolers, what we have to offer at East Central,” added Director of Career and Technical Edu cation Cody Spence. “Our goal is for members of the community to understand the career options avail able through East Central Community College and to

provide them with all the in formation they need to take the next step in life.” The college’s showcase and preview day provided an introduction to more than 21 programs of study within career and technical education and healthcare programs while offering interactive learning activi ties and unique experiences based on student interests.
