Dinner Theater Returns EC E ncore P resents “I f A M an A nswers ” in M abry C afeteria

After several years hiatus, the East Central Community College Fall Dinner Theater returned to the Decatur cam pus with the Encore Players presenta tion of the classic and hilarious stage play “If A Man Answers.” The cast performed for two sold out audiences on Friday and Saturday, November 10-11 in Mabry Cafeteria. Directed by alumni Gene and Sherri Cliburn, the show is set in the 1960s and featured dining, dancing, and

dramady. Laughter and hijinks abound when a French mother tries to help her struggling, newlywed daughter with the secret to a happy marriage: a dog training manual! Gene said the cast worked hard to perfect the “less than modern dia logue” and learned a few new skills including the use of a rotary dial phone, which was a pivotal prop in the production.
