East Central Community College held its Fall Commencement ceremony on Dec. 8, 2023, in Huff Auditorium. Patrick Lovette, director of admis sion & records, presented the candi dates for graduation, and ECCC Execu tive Vice President David Case awarded degrees and certificates during the ceremony. Graduates included more than 220 students who completed degree requirements following the summer or EC Holds Fall Commencement
fall terms. Graduating sophomores who partici pated in the ceremony included Alice Monique Keats of Choctaw and a grad uate of Choctaw Central High School, who gave the commencement address;
Darnell Deshawn Chesser of Carthage and a graduate of Leake Central High School, who gave the invocation; and Ellie Michelle Winter of Newton and a graduate of Newton County High School, who gave the benediction.

SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY GRADUATES TWELVE These students are fall 2023 graduates of the East Central Community College Surgical Technology program and were recognized during a pinning ceremony held Thursday, December 7.
