The Hinds Community College women's basketball team looked to get back in the win column on Tuesday night, but was unsuccessful in their efforts, falling 76-69 at East Central Community College.

!sheer Davis (Raymond) continued her stellar play for Hinds (6-8 overall and O·S in the South division), as she went for a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Adrianna Kemp (Bay Springs) chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds in Tuesday's tough road loss.

The Lady Bulldogs suffered another slim road defeat on Thursday, Jan. 14, dropping a 78·70 decision at Meridian Community College.

Ar.eleatha Gipson (Montgomery, Ala.) led all Hinds scorers with 13 points at Meridian.

Davis scored another double-double, going for 11 points and 16 rebounds.

Hinds returns to action quickly, traveling to Perkinston on Thursday to take on Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College at 5:30 p.m.
