JUCO BASKETBALL East Central CC earns sweep at Co-Lin From school reports

(Chula Vista. Calif.) added 13 points. Alexia McDonald out of Petal High School added 10 points to go with three steals, and Miracle Rushing out of Meridian High School scored 10 points and added four assists and a game-high 10 rebounds. The MACJC South Division win improved the Lady Warriors to 11-2 overall and 3-1 in the South Division. It was the second straight loss this week for the Co-Lin Lady Wolves, who fe!J to 11-2 and 2-2 in the South Divi sion. In addition to Henry's 18 points, three other Warriors scored in double figures in the men's win. Derrick Dandridge out of White Station High

School (Memphis, Tenn.) scored 15 points, Prince McDaniel out of Pascagoula High School also had 15, and Keion Peoples out of Ridgeway High School (Memphis, Tenn.) chipped in 11. McDaniel and Peoples each had six rebounds. The Warriors improved to 7-6 overall on the season and 2-2 in MACJC South Division play. The Co-Lin Wolves dropped to 2-11 and <4. The Warriors and Lady Warriors return to action Tuesday when they host Hinds Community Col· lege. It was the sixth straight win for the Lady Warriors.
