Guests walk the red carpet to enter a recent "Super Stellar Night" prom hosted by East Central Community College's Theta Xi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The prom for special needs students in the college's five-county district was the annual "Honors in Action· project for the ECCC PTK chapter. More than 30 special needs students attended the event, which began with dinner and ended with a night of dancing. East Central Community College student-athletes and Student Body Association officers will served as dates for the participants. Several individuals and businesses made donations to help support the event, including enough prom dress for all those who attended. The prom was held in the Mabry Cafeteria on the Decatur campus.
