ECCC plans Warriors meet-and-greet Monday
The public is invited to "Meet the Warriors" when East Central Community College hosts the annual pep rally and student-ath lete introductions event scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, at Bailey Stadium on the Decatur campus. ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart will wel come the anticipated large crowd for the event and provide comments about the upcoming athletics seasons. Performing groups include the Wall 0' Sound Marching Band, Centralettes and the Warrior cheerleading
squad.
Community College. The public is invited to attend. Admission is $7. The men's golf team begins play Sept. 17-18 at Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges Event No. 1 at Wolf Hollow Golf Club in Wesson. Following the Pep Rally, the student-athletes will autograph posters for their fans. Members of ECCC's men's golf, men's and women's soccer, and foot ball teams will be intro duced by their coaches. The men's and women's soccer teams begin their fall action at 3 and 5 p.m., respectively, on Thursday, Aug. 25, hosting Copiah Lincoln Community College on the ECCC cam pus. The 2016 edition of the Warrior football team begins its fall season on the synthetic turf of Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1, against Holmes
