STUDENT RECEIVES SCHOLARSHIP Javontae Spivey, a 2016 graduate of Forest High School, received a $1,000 scholarship check from The Citizens Bank Branch Manager Richard Latham, center, as part of an aca demic program. Students were encouraged to bring their report card in to receive credit for each "A" they received. A drawing was held among eligible participants and Spivey was the winner of the $1,000 scholarship. Eligibility applied to high school juniors and seniors. Spivey said his plans include attending East Central Community College. As part of the program, the school where the winning student attended also receives an award. Latham presented a check to Forest High School Principal Kim Shoemaker for $500.
