4 area students win state laurels Four area students in membership, Gold Seal were among members of Recognition and East Central Community Foundation Recognition. College's Theta Chi
Chapter of Phi Beta I Lamda which competed in 21 events in state competi tion. The ECCC chapter had winners in each category and each of the 20 mem bers participating placed first in at least one event. First place winners will attended national compe tition this summer in Atlanta. Winners included: • Morgan Cain of Carthage, first place, busi ness presentations, and first place, entrepreneur ship; • Enoc Reynoso of Carthage, first place, com munity service project, and first place, hospitality management; • Lane Wooten of Carthage, first place, microeconomics, and fourth place, impromptu speaking; • Whitney Billings of Sebastopol, first place, business ethics, and third place, desktop publishing; Theta Chi was also rec ognized for largest chapter
