glad to get the opportunity after not playing any travel ball "I always thought I wanted to play college soft ball but didn't know if I was going to get the chance," McMillan said. "I went and tried out and later Coach Chaney called me and we talked about signing." Williams was glad to see McMillan sign. "I think it's a big deal for our program," Williams said. "She's the third player to sign in three years for us. Before that, we had never had a player to sign. So that's a big deal for us and shows how far we have come as a program."

Chaney said she was im pressed with McMillan at the plate. "She came and tried out and hit it really well," Chaney said. "That's what really sold us. Plus, she's a big, strong kid and is only gQlngto get better. "And she didn't play tour nament ball so she didn't get the exposure of some of these kids. She's gQt plenty
