East Central added a run in the second on an Ellis double and another in the foUrth when Summer Lavender, a product of Canton Academy, doubled, stole third and then scored on a passed ball. Chloe Thaggard out of Leake Academy picked up the win for game two, allowing

only three runs and four hits over seven innings in the circle. The East Central softball team will be back in action against No. 3 ranked Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Tuesday, April 5, on the Decatur campus. The doubleheader is set for 3 and 5 p.m.
